Simon is still in heart failure.
Simon had a *great* day.
He laughed
He played.
He went for a walk outside.
He was as happy today while in the hospital as he's been out of the hospital.
He nursed like a champ.

I was hoping when I got back to town I would read that you were all home again. Glad to hear that today included smiling and laughter. Your strength and courage and faith are amazing. Keeping you all in my prayers.

Being a mom myself it is totally inconceivable how you are getting the strength to handle each day. But after visiting and seeing the photos, it is clear that Simon is a beacon- a veritable lighthouse shining such brightness wherever his eyes alight... Thank you for taking the time to share this with all of us. Clearly we are humbled, all, to bear witness to this special family.
