Simon (Shimmy) is beautiful!!! I read jaime's post on the ccf listserve--thanks for providing your blog info--what a cool bunch you are. I have two kids with HCM (hypertrophic, not dilated)--diagnosed at 10 and 5 (they're now 14 and 6)--hang in there--you're not alone. It's a wild ride. We're queer family too by the way (now two moms and a stepmom).
